Catalog

Import, create, edit, search and export full MARC catalog records. Quickly catalog using remote public resources. Book jacket images can appear with records. Easily print barcode labels and spine labels.

Patrons

Import patrons from a file or hand enter them. Add patron images. Quickly review what patrons have checkout out, overdue or fines they owe.

Circulation

Setup circulation policies for loan period or fix due date, fines per day, maximum checkouts and overdues. Check out, renew and check in by barcode numbers or by patron names and titles.

Checkouts, Overdues, Fines

Easily display all items checked out, overdue and fines owed. Click on records to check items in and clear optional fines.

Labels

Print barcode labels and spine labels on inexpensive label stock you can purchase from most office supply stores.

Activity

WikiLibrary displays important activity in graphics and summary listings, including number of items cataloged, checked out, checked in and deleted.

If you have 500 catalog records or less, the service is FREE with one staff account. The Standard service provides up to 25,000 catalog records and cost just $360 per year. It also includes added features for inventory control, patron access and book jacket sharing. The Premium service allows up to 50,000 catalog records for $720 per year. Each service comes with two staff accounts. With the Standard and Premium services, you can add additional staff accounts for $120 per year per account.

WikiLibrary is an integrated library automation service (ILS), specifically designed to be easy to use with the standard features of MARC cataloging, circulation, and patron access. Other features include a book jack image sharing system, inventory control, barcode and spine label printing.

WikiLibrary offers a free Basic service for up to 500 catalog records with one staff account. The Standard service provides up to 25,000 catalog records and cost just $360 per year. It also includes added features for inventory control, patron access and book jacket sharing. The Premium service allows up to 50,000 catalog records for $720 per year. Each service comes with two staff accounts. With the Standard and Premium services, you can add additional staff accounts for $120 per year per account. Staff accounts manage the library. There is no limit to the number of patrons that can search the library.

Yes, you can optionally publish your collection and allow anyone to have read access to your catalog through a separate public access portal. The public access service is called WikiLibrary Discovery and also includes pages for library events, news, web resources and library contact information.
We believe you own your own data and we allow exporting your catalog collection and patron records to MARC (the industry standard) and TEXT formats at any time.
